I have had the Samsung "kirk" for a month now and everything was fine but today this happened.
All programs are displayed in 4:3 even when the widescreen picure mode is on. Then if you change to 4:3 ratio its all compressed into the middle of the screen.
The strange thing is that the HD channels are still displaying in widescreen when the program is in ws.
This happens only when wathcing tv through the cable box, when watching directly from antenna the display is correct and regular channels are streched to fit the screen.
Anyone has an idea on where I should look for a solution to this problem?

Nevermind, my DCT box was set up for 1080i, I swithced it to 720p and it solved the problem.
