I wanted to see if there is any differnece between the TIVO DTV HDTV DVR and the one offered by Time Warner Cable. The TIVO unit is about $1000 and Time Warner will rent you one for $7 per month. The time warner unit can record 2 shows in HDTV at the same time like TIVO, but the Time Warner unit only has one coax input on the back.
Is there any quality difference between DTV and TIme Warner for HDTV?
Is it worth the $1000 for a TIVO vs. $7 per month for Time Warner?
