I got from amazon 2 years ago, it was already chipped etc. Woke up this morning and now it will only play US dvds, NTSC. I get a message saying 'not NTSC' whenever i put a disc in, region 2. I don't understand why this has happened? it was working fine 2 days ago when watching superman!!I have know idea on how to switch it back!!! can anyone help? asap.
The same thing happened to my Toshiba SD220e, also purchased from Amazon - except that mine will now only play PAL discs. Like your machine, it was happily playing R1/R2 discs only a few days ago. Something funny going on?
I have a toshiba combination tv, vcr, dvd player model # MD20FP1. Can anybody help me to hack the regional code so I can play the dvd I ordered from the UK.....
