I have one question regarding FTA receiver - how to update software in it. It's no brand name receiver, and I fond it hard to find anything that works with it. It has DB9 port (with ST232) on it for software update but I haven't found yet the way to upload software to it. By the way it is ELIT DSR-004FTA DVB digital satellite receiver with DiSEqC 1.2. (It uses STi5518 DVC processor) ANY IDEA WHAT SOFTWARE TO USE AND HOW TO DO IT. TO WHAT I CAN UPGRADE IT. Also it have great menu, canal searching, a lot of options... for now I like it but I am affraid that I will change that opinion. I have been searching the net but cold not find anything. PLEASE help if you can. Thanx.
try saveandreplay also Nagra 2 is being working great on the 3 channels that is being broadcasted on my max 2000 which i purchased from saveandreplay! works amazing

check out http://www.urbantoys.ca for some info. I got my fta box there. It's a brand name but the experts in the forum board seem competent.
