Help. I bought this DVD player a couple of years ago but rarely use it. It has been working without incident until lately when the standby -red button would not seem to go off and the remote, nothing would make the player work. Only going through the reset procedures would do the trick. Now, that doesn't seem to be working. The standby light remains on and going through the reset procedure doesn't work as the LCD display is not lighting up and displaying test.
Any thoughts out there on what the problem might be and how to correct it?
