Here's what I got: Combo Digital Cable/DVR box VCR Panasonic DVD Recorder w/hard drive Home-theater system
I'd like to be able to record to either the VCR or DVD recorder live from the cable. Is it also possible to take saved programs from the cable DVR's hard drive and have the choice of saving them to the VCR or DVD recorder -I know I can pick at least one, but can I have both?
The DVD recorder has its own tuner and is supposed to download a TV-Guide from the cable, then use an IR-blaster to change channels on the cable box so it can record programs to its hard drive. Because the cable box is a DVR in itself - does this somehow conflict with the Panasonic?
Can I copy VHS tapes to DVD?
I'd like to be able to use the Home Theater System for the DVD, VCR and regular TV viewing if possible, but if that's not possible, I'd at least like the DVD hooked up to it.
