Is Toshiba 4960 same as Samsung 841?

I need a little help here - I've read on two forums that the new Toshiba 4960 is the SAME unit as the Samsung 841. How can that be? The 4960 gets fine reviews - the 841 terrible ones.
I'm waiting for the S-941 to come out - delayed because of some technical problems until November. So - will the 941 be the same as a Toshiba player? I'm confused. . .

Dessy,
No they are not the same. The Toshiba 4960 uses component video cables for output (analog). The Samsung HD841 uses DVI output cable (digital). The comparison should be between the Toshiba SD-5970 (HDMI Cable) and the Samsung HD841. Both of these have digital interface (however, DVI vs HDMI), progressive scan, and upconversion capability. Still, they are not the same. They don't even look the same.
