DTS 96/24 QUESTION ??

i have just played "queens gretest hits 2 DVD" recorded in DTS. my receiver picked up 96/24 but no sound comes out of the centre channel ?. Can anyone help me with this problem ?.

96/24 could refer to the quality of LPCM stereo or DTS surround. Is there a DTS 96/24 label on disc, and likewise on reveiver?

yes there is a 96/24 DTS label, when you go into the menu of the dvd it gives you the option to select 5.1 DTS which my receiver picks up this 96/24 ?, I then here no sound from the centre channel.

Actually, I cannot hear it either. This means that the mix is 4.1, leaving the centre channel silent.

If you have the GVH 1 too, you will find that it is 5.1 mix, with a well implemented center channel. I generally like GVH1 better than GVH2, also regarding quality.
