Exactly Vince! Turn off the TV sound!

If you have a home theater system, you should not use TV speakers at all for a number of reasons. The sound will be out of sync because sound will either reach the receiver before the TV or visa versa depending on your set up. The speakers in your TV will not blend well with your HT speakers because the HT (home theater) speakers should be of higher quality than those in your TV and therefore have dome, horn or other type of tweeters. Your TV has single driver speakers with means your highs will come through cone drivers in the TV. In an HT system, all speakers need to have the same type of tweeter. Also, you are mixing low fi with hi fi. Stick with the hi fi of your HT system.

If you has a Game Mode on your TV, you can choose it to sync the picture with the sound but the picture quality will be worst!

The problem is the picture processor speed like 60, 120,240 or 600 hz wich is the speed of your processor.

Plymouth, this person is talking about sound being out of sync between the TV speakers and the TV system. A problem best and easily resolved by turning off the TV's sound. No mention of sound & picture being out of sync.

Okay, but why have the TV sound and HT at the same time? It doesn't make sense. It's better use HT exclusively.
