We have a new Samsung LED tv, Bose V10, Samsung BRD and Verizon Fios cable box. I have HDMI cables from my previous TV (maybe 6 years old). I connected the HDMI from the cable box to the bose then HDMI from the bose to the tv and the BRD. The tv recognizes the HDMI but is sending no signal. Should I be doing something differently? I have the cable working now using component cables from the cable box to the tv and digital audio cables to the bose, but my tv only has one input for component cables so I can't set up the BRD. Could my HDMI cables be too old? I also read that the different components could need updated. If so, how? Any help is greatly appreciated!
