hi, need some advise for the most efficient hookup for my system
currently i have 2 hdmi running from my tv directly into my cable box and another into my dvd, and optical running from each of those into my yamaha receiver. 2 hdmi cords/2 opticals is all i have in the setup. everything works fine but is there a better way to do it by running the hdmi through my receiver?
i also just purchased a klipsch 5.1 system, i wont have access to putting the surrounds in rear of the room. is it pointless to put the front and rear speakers all in the front or should i just run it as a 3.1 system?
my yamaha is rx-v565 my tv is samsung LN-t5265f my dvd is samsung bd-p3600
i currently have a comcast box, but think i'm swithcing to direct tv when i move next week...i want to get my wires hidden/ready for painters this week, any help is greatly appreciated
