Hi, I just bought a new sub to replace my old one that just wasn't good enough but my friend told me that instead of replacing it I should consider using both at the same time. I was wondering if that's a good idea and need help/advice from more experienced people.

My current setup (which is an entry level setup I would say, I've had it for 3 years now) is a Denon AVR-1707 with 4 Klipsch RSX-5 for the 2 fronts and surrounds and a Klipsch RVX-42 for the center.
The subwoofer I was using is a Denon dsw-27 (originally part of denon dht-700dv kit) and the new one I bought is a Paradigm PDR-8 v.4 (not an amazing one but still better than the previous one)

Considering I listen to music more than I watch movies, would it be a good idea to combine both subs? and if so how should I place them in my room? (it's a rather small one, it's in fact my college appt bedroom)
