Hello folks,

We just moved in to our new home and it's pre wired for 4 on-wall speakers, 2 center speakers and a subwhooper in the media room and 2 speakers in the master bed. My initial plan is to go with following plan but appreciate your comment , feedback...etc on it

Dennon 2210 CI or 3310 CI Receiver
4 Bowers & Wilkins in wall speakers (CWM 500 55HZ-20KHZ)
1 Bowers & Wilkins center speaker (VM6)
1 Bowers & Wilkins subwoofer (8"SUB 200W ICE AMP)
1 panamax surge protector
2 Bowers & Wilkings in-ceiling speakers for the master bed.
1 volume controller
58 inch Samsung Plsma TV

Cheers

Not a bad set up. Its the 2310 not 2210 and it is all you need. The 8" sub might be a little weak, step up to a 10 or 12 incher. If you use HDMI cables you will also need red and white analog cables to feed zone 2. HDMI does not work in zone 2.

Thanks Casey, appreciate your feed back.
The total cost for the above setup came out to be around $6500 that is excludign the TV. Is that too much? or reasonable? Any other better options for the speakers to reduce the $$'s .

I think the prices for your set up are
4 B&W CMV 500 $800
1 B&W VM6 450
1 B&W Sub ??? 1000
1 B&W ??? 400 BED ROOM
1 Panamax ??? 200
1 Volume Cont. 100
1 Denon ??? 1500
$4450

Is it possible to go to another dealer in your area for a second opinion.

You are right on Casey, except I didn't mention there is a 1500$ installation charge and tax + trip charge. I am afraid I might end-up screwing up the install which is why I am leaning towards having a real professional install the speakers

Good idea on the pro-install. Not only will it be done right the first time but they will also teach you how to use it.

Greetings Shas,

While highly unlikely is it possible that your new home is in the Detroit Michigan metro area?

Best,

Jim
