I am only getting surround sound when I watch a DVD and not when watching regular TV. I have a Panasonic HDTV, a DirecTV HD receiver, and a Panasonic Surround Sound System. I have an HDMI cable, monster cables, and regular red, white, and yellow cables. What is the proper setup. Right now I have HDMI going from TV to DTV receiver. Then the monster cables going from TV to surround sound box. What is the proper way?
