Hi..I have a Harmon Kardon surround sound system with a panasonic DVD,Sony TV, Mitsubishi VCR and Dishnetwork satellite system. My sound is terrible. I hope that my hookup and my TV settings for audio are right. DVD's sound ok but the rest does not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Connection info would help a lot. Thanks
Dar, you should be connecting the Dish box's red/white R/L audio outputs to the red/white audio inputs on the HK receiver. You'll get better results with this rather than using the Sony's audio output.
I think you can then select Dolby Pro Logic II on the HK and get pretty good surround on your Dish channels.
