Thought I'd re-submit due to poor spelling.
What's the best way to do this so don't have speakers all over the place ?
Is it as easy as splicing the Hi Fi output to the surround sound speakers using some speaker wire or is there a better way ??
I was thinking of splicing alternatively right then left around the 4 room speakers.

Bad idea Matt. Get an A/V receiver, if money tight look for a used one.

You need to have speakers all over the place. One above or below the TV,one left, one right of the TV,2 surround speakers about 6 feet off the ground facing each other from either side of your couch. If your using a home theater in the box set up you can not break it up and use some and not the rest. If you want info on a real set up at any price range ask.
