i ave a panasonic SCHT990 home theatre system,i can get sound when playing dvds, but i dont know how to get it out of my Samsung PS42E7HD plasma tv, can anybody help me please thanks
The best way is to hook up component cables from the Panasonic's component output into the Samsung's component input. Then select the Samsung's component input. The picture should be on the TV.
Also select "progressive scan" on the video setup on the Panasonic.
You ned to hook up the Cable box to the stereo to get sound from the Samsung to the panasonic. You can use anolog red and white RCA cables or Digital cables from the CABLE box to the Panasonic. Only add to you set up leave your existing connections.
Sorry Casey and Kieron, I mis-read the post. It wasn't stated what the video source is, cable, cable box, satellite, antenna, whatever. The easiest quick answer is to run RCA R/L cable from the Samsung's audio outs into the Panasonic's audio inputs.
