Please reccomend a 5.1 system.

18 x 20 Room - 16' cealing - Hardwood floors - wife requests inwall for rear 2 channels. Budget $2,200. Want great sound at low volume. 60/40 Movies/Music (all types but no rap and the likes)

I was thinking the Onkyo SR805 and perhaps the HTD level threes. (Has anyone heard their stuff??? I have not) http://www.htd.com/cabinet-speakers/level-three-speakers

Then I did a bit of research and common advise is to by a well matched system. The problem is I have not been able to find a source that identifies well matched systems.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I am not an Onkyo fan,in my opion Denon would br a better choice, with Paradigm speakers. http://www.paradigm.com/en/paradigm/rec-systems-14-1-2-4.paradigm# http://usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/3255.asp

I agree with Casey on the speakers. Paradigm are one of the best values in speakers out there. Good sound , good quality for a reasonable price.

Stay away from the stuff at the big-box electronic stores (in general).

Denon is a good choice, as is Pioneer. I'm pretty happy with my Pioneer VSX-1016.
