I'm trying to decide what AVR would be the best fit for my Axiom speakers (M22, QS4, VP100, EP175). I'm not able to actually listen to the speakers thru any of the AVRs BEFORE I buy because of location restrictions, so if any one has any experience with Axiom speakers and the following AVRs, I'd sure appreciate your 2 cents...I'm considering HK AVR 645, Marantz (SR4001 or SR7001), or NAD. Any other suggestions are more than welcome, too. A final note, I consider HDMI connectivity important (it may be the Kool Aid, but still...).
I have a Marantz 8400 hooked up to 3 Axiom's. I can vouch for the sound, though if you are not used to it, you may get more clarity out of older badly recorded CD's that you may not have heard before. The music comes out in great detail.
