I have a Sony Receiver (STR-K850) that I have been experincing some audio dropouts from. It only happens with some DVDs. Most reciently from the new "Casino Royale" disk. The audio will play along fine and then drops down so that you can't hardly hear it and then will pick back up again. It always seems to happen in the same places on the disk. I have played the disk through the TV speakers and also an older Pioneer reciever with another DVD player. The disk worked fine in those situations so I'm convinced that it has to do with the Sony receiver. I do have a digital coax cable hookup instead of fiber optic. Could this be the problem?
