Hope I could get some help in purchasing a new a/v receiver. Have been looking at: Denon, Yamaha, Marantz, Onkyo and Integra which I think is the same as Onkyo but not sure.
The components I have now are as followed:
Sony KE-42TS2U plasma B&W 602's Book shelves B&W cc 652 centre channels Rotel RCC-945 CD player DVD player to be purchased
My plan is to eventually buy 603's for my fronts and put the 602's in the rear. Also get the DS6 wall speakers.
I also need to hook up 3 satellite receivers; my I pod and may old VCR. I am replacing an Onkyo TX DS555 receiver because I want the video switching plus a lot of the new features available now. THX ultra 2 if possible otherwise THX select 2 HDMI v1.3 Possible network connection to my receiver. (I need advise on this if anyone has done it. Worth doing or not.)
The room I'm doing is in the basement and is roughly 15' x 20' with 7' ceiling.
As far as I know you can only buy Outlaw on the Internet. It would be really hard for me to buy something without listening to it. I live in Toronto, Canada and if you know of a retailer that sells there receivers let me know.
