Hey guys, I'm looking out for a decent, value for money, home theater receiver & speakers & happened to see the above mentioned model. Anybody has an idea about the same? Is Onkyo a good brand amongst home theaters? Please advise. Most important...right now I just have 400$ at my disposal. If u have any other brand or discretes(just the A/v receiver & speakers) in mind, please let me know.
Onkyo is a pretty good brand. That set up is probably one of the better ones at that price point. I would also check out the Yamaha Model: YHT-370 , it may be a little better system. The thing to do is stay away from the DVD/Reciever combo systems. I also saw the Onkyo HTS790 for $409 on circuitcity.com Good Luck!!
