I have Time Warner cable with a HD Motorola receiver. On my local programing HD channels the sound wont play on digital mode, and on the NBC channel it will play during the program but the sound goes away during the commercials. What gives? Is it my equipment or the cable provider. All the other HD channels sound fine.
if you mean the sound out of your reciever it may have to do with you not having the auto detect mode on. it also may be a audio setting on the cable box that you need to switch to 5.1 and 2 channel instead of just 5.1.
