I don't understand this one. When I power on my HT-S580 HTIB system, the system tries to turn on (the usual "click" is heard), then another click, then another click, then another click, etc. This happens continuously and never turns on. The only way to stop it is to hit the "on/standby" again. I have followed the instructions by unplugging the system for an hour then trying again, but it didn't work. The same happens when the remote control is used.
Speaker wires are fine. Unit keeps clicking to try and power on, but nothing. It's under warranty, but nearest service center is an hour's drive. Besides, if I have to watch another movie with only stereo sound, I'm going to stick a shotgun in my mouth.
