Searched all over the forum and can't see this exact setup. I was wondering if anyone knows of a site with diagrams, which are a lot easier to follow. I have a 56" RCA HDTV, a SONY Surround Sound Home Theatre system (DVD/Audio1/Audio2/Tuner), VCR, and a Playstation. I would like to hear the surround sound on all systems, but this seems impossible. I have split the cable feed to go to the SONY (Tuner mode) for music, and to the VCR then to the TV. I am trying to figure out what seems to be a consistent problem with many forum users - how to get the TV and/or other components to use the surround sound system and not the TV speakers. Thanks.

Digital cable boxes have audio outs that can be sent to the reciver, if no cable box or no audio outs you need to use a HI-FI VCR. Cable box to VCR RF in, audio out to reciever.
