We have basic cable with no box. We own a new Onkyo TX-SR602 av receiver, new Acoustimass 6 series II, older Philips cable ready tv with 3 jacks, new LG vcr&dvd recorder, cd player, cassette player and turntable. We are so confused with all the possible hookups and none close to our components. I am not sure if any or all of the connections are correct or not. The Bose directions say one thing and the Onkyo says another. The test of the speakers with an included microphone showed all the speakers work except the unpowered sub woofer. But when a radio station is played only 2 front speakers play. Please anyone with advice out there? Thank you in advance.
Becuase FM is only ever 2 speakers you can change the settings but it will mostly be through the center speaker. Just go with your 2 front channels its best.
