I'm having problems with getting 5.1 Digital from my Xbox 360. My Home Theatre System Doesn't have Optical in but Coaxial instead. I have run the Optical from the 360 into a Converter then the Digital Coax from the Converter to Digital IN on the Home Theatre. I have set the 360 settings correctly and The Home Theatre I believe. Once the 360 is switched on I get sound for a few seconds then nothing at all or an untuned Radio station noise. I've also tryed 2 different Coax leads, both of which display Signal valid. I also run a seperate DVD player through the Home Theatre which is capable of DD and could not get DD from that either although I was getting 2.0. Doe's anyone have any ideas?? Thanks for your time.
