Hi, I'm new here and am hoping to get some help. I have a feeling this could be an easy fix but I haven't a clue what to do. Have a Sony Receiver STR-DA555ES, Atlantic Technology System 170 Home Theater Speakers, hooked up to Sony DVP-S550D Was wiping down receiver remote (Sony RM-TP502) and must have changed something. It has a touch screen pad and I never use it. Now it wont work at all except for a few beeps. Can't watch a DVD(no sound) but then the tv audio comes through the speakers when it is switched to Video 4 as well as the picture to match on screen. Very frustrated! Vid 4 is what we used to put the tv on to watch movies with surround sound until I blew it. Can any one tell me what to do and can it be rectified from the receiver itself since the remote also has a problem? Thanks in advance for any offers of assistance.
