I have problem with my Pioneer XV-HTD510 (home theater). When I play a DVD movie I get video and music but no voices. Everything is hooked up properly. It's only 2 years old. No fuses are blown.I hooked up my son's Surround sound receiver/amp and it workd fine. Does anyone have any ideas. Someone told me about a Pscan. Could I do this to resolve this problem?

Berny - The red and white wires on the REceiver/amp are in the audio out and the red and white wires on the audio in are connected to the TV.

You do not need to hook the red and white to the TV. I am gathering this receiver is a combo with DVD? If so then unhook from the TV as you do not want sound from the tv, but your receiver system. If you have a separate DVD make sure the red and white (CoAx or Optical is better)are connect to receiver if that is where want the sound to come from.
