hi guys, I'm new to the whole home theater system, I just purchased a home theater system from onkyo, HT S780? It took me awhile to get use to all the settings, but having a little trouble with the Dts settings? I have an sony dvd player, and have hooked it up using Digital Coax cable? But it seems like I can only get DTS: 6 cinematic neo..something..is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks for the help!
Is the receiver on auto detect for audio? You may have to go to your menu system in the DVD player and toggle the DTS on the audio menu. Dolby Digital is on by default but not DTS. Check your DVD player manual for details.
