Can anyone recommend a Home Theater System (please list brand and model number & price)that will get great sound for playing remastered classic rock CD's. I just got a Koss C-220 for $150 on EBay & while the DVD sound is great, when I play classic rock CD's the sound at times sucks and at other times isn't bad. Specifically, if I play remastered CD's by the Cream or Free, the sound is terrible. I don't know if this is due to the way the CD was recorded, my system or both. I play CD's in an average size living room in an apartment with decent accoustics loud but not loud enough to have my neighbors knocking. Any info would be appreciated.
