This weekend I am going to be installing surround sound speakers in my living room. I will also be putting 2 outdoor speakers on the patio. I am also going to put my receiver in an adjacent room so that I don't have to look at the darn thing. I am concerned about my attic. My insulation is raised about 3 feet above my rafters. Is it safe for me to get a couple of pieces of plywood and lay it on top of the insulation? Is it possible for me to just fluff the insulation once I am done?
I also am wondering about a speaker switch box that I bought. Is this hard to wire? It seems pretty simple but if anyone has any advice for this I am willing to hear it.
If you have any tips, hints or advice for me I welcome it. I am excited about doing this on saturday/sunday.
