Surround sound setup for <$500

Hi i'm looking for a 5.1/6.1 setup for 400-$500.

Does anyone have suggestions?

From reading this forum it seems the Onkyo 770s would fit the bill (I already have a DVD player) or the Onkyo SKS-240s + receiver. Assuming i get the SKS-240s for $320 at CC (from shopping.com), what's the best receiver i can get for ~$180?
