I have purchase a yamaha HTR5650 I have a sony dvp-ns725P dvd and a sony slv-585hf vcr. I cannot figure out how to record dvd to vcr. All my hookups are done with video component jacks not the 6 channel input jacks. Thank you!
does the vcr have any component video inputs? I certainly doubt it, so you have to use the composite video output of the dvd player and hook it up to the composite video(yellow jack) input of the vcr. Most DVD are macrovision protected so you won't be able to copy these dvds unless you have a macrovision remover.
