Hi, ive a bit of a dilema, choices open to me are: a) mordaunt short genie speakers with the new denon 2805 amp. b) Bose lifestyle 28 HTS. c) ive aquired an old pioneer vsx d908tx amp, which seems to be about 4 yrs old, was priced at around $2500 new. Needs a service due to power problems. Should i get a service for this amp and go with the speakers above, or call it quits on this amp and go with option a? or just go for the bose system? Would like your expertise in choosing the right set-up as magazines and sales people can sometimes mislead you into the wrong choice. Many many thx to any replies.
Whatever happens, do not go for the lifestyle 28. Simple, yes, but a little over priced for what it can do. Go with option A, but you could do better on the receiver. Do you have a budget for the receiver?
