NAD T533 right channel problem

Hi all,
I'm a newbie here, so don't be too harsh...

I bought a NAD T533 DVD_A player with a C320BEE amp. About 3 of the 10 times I put in a new audio CD to listen, I have no output to the right loudspeaker. If i change speaker connection left to right on the amp, the problem is indeed at the left speaker. The tuner never gives this problem (NAD C422). Anybody else had this problem? How to solve?? Thanx in advance.

Is it possible you have a bad wire connecting the DVD player to the amp? Try a new set of RCA cables and see if your problem is solved.

richard,

I experienced this, and so did another owner on Thread: NAD T533 DVD/CD player user's review, and DVD-Audio.

It seemed to occur after playing a DVD-V disc, and went away if I switched the machine off and then on again, just using the grey power button. I have not noticed it after my firmware upgrade (see link above).
