With President’s Day coming and new TV models expected this Spring, retailers are clearing out the 2022 models at the lowest prices we’ve seen. Their loss is our gain. The latest blowout OLED TV deal we’ve found is on LG’s 4K A2 OLED series. The 55-inch A2 model is under $900, the 65-inch under $1200 and the 77-inch under $1800. The 55 and 65-inch models are available on Amazon so they qualify for an additional 5% cash back if you pay with an Amazon credit card or store card. The 48-inch model is down to $599 at Best Buy but is currently sold out online. You may be able to find an open box one for even less if you’re lucky.

LG’s A2 OLED series may be their “entry level” OLEDs, but their performance is anything but basic. They feature full 4K resolution with HDR, inky black levels, rich color saturation, even support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos built in. The A2 series feature LG’s latest WebOS platform for instant integrated access to all of the popular audio and video streaming apps.

RTINGS reviewed the A2 series last fall and rated them 8.6 out of 10 with strong performance on movies, TV shows, sports and gaming. The A2 TV even makes an excellent PC monitor in case you’d like to see your co-workers and friends in life size on your next Zoom meeting. Our friend Al Griffin over at Tech Radar rated the A2 series sets 4 stars out of 5, saying “the A2’s overall picture quality is excellent, and will give OLED enthusiasts exactly what they want.” He added, “If you’re looking for a good, affordable set for movies and other entertainment, the A2 is a very solid option.”
