My picture freezes every 10 minutes or so for about 3 to 4 minutes and then comes back in. Anyone else having this problem? I am not going to say those magic initials. ECM. I'm just gonna assume my box is out of whack.

OK, by trial and error I finally figured out the solution. My dish has a dual connector LNB and connects to my receivers (A) and (B) connectors. Well...when my son came for a visit I put my Viewsat Extreme in his room and disconnected from (B)to my 7000 and connected to the Xtreme in his room. I had figure the 7000 A and B receivers were independent of each other and if I disconnected a connection it would not affect operation. Well it worked for awhile and then the freezing started. After I connected back to A and B the freezing stopped and everything is ok. What can I say...Live and learn

Good work!
If you use a Dn DP dish which is very sensitive with voltage input.
A and B are independant so it will be a bad contact on a connector.
