FTA receivers to watch dishnetwork...Can't we do the same with directv?

why we don't see any topics about watching Directv using FTA receivers? Why all FTA community is talking about Dishnetwork and watching Dishnetwork? and nothing about directv? Is it the encryption method the problem...I doubt it, but I don't know the reason!!

Plymouth, but if nagravision is weaker than what Directv encryption is employing then why Dishnetwork is not using the same strong encryption method to cypher its streaming?

Simple...DN doesn't have the SECURED patented secrets to Videoguard encryption..

Same reason U don't have access to the keys to Fort Knox gold!

Everybody take the more easy way.
All is possible. Certaintly Direct is decoded.
Contract with provider decided all.
If your competitor have same encryption, maybe he may helped hacker to hacked you and say you are not securised.
Around provider the strategy is first and we are not in god secret.
