i have a wireless laptop also. so my question is this..
using my wireless laptop (windows vista).. i am going to 192.xxx.xxx web loader..

What Browser?
Are you using the actual IP? or are you putting in the xxx's?
Have you tried putting the nfusion on a non-pay channel when loading? 100 for DN or 349 for BEV.

you Dont.

Look in your network settings menu on the nfusion. Copy down the IP address.

Turn the nfusion to a Free channel.

Put that address in your web browser, try Firefox cause thats what I am using. Drop any leading 0's from the ip. For example if the nfusion is 192.168.001.101 you would use 192.168.1.101 in the browser.

If still no go, try to ping the nfusion from your laptop.
From command line type ping 192.168.1.101 or whatever your nfusions ip address is.

If still no luck, then you may also want to try disabling your firewall on the laptop or router.

not using vista, but in XP its START > RUN > then type CMD then press Enter.

That will open a Command Window where you can type in the Ping command.

Good to hear.

By software version check are you checking the one in the network settings menu or the one in the system menu?

Thats telling you what is on the server.

Use System Settings > S/W Version. That will tell you what is loaded on your box.
