The priest thanked him kindly and together they proceeded to the church to drop the priest off. On the way, they passed a man walking his dog on the other side of the road. On closer inspection the man was seen to be wearing a Habs sweater. Now, the Leafs fan that was driving just hated the Habs, and he suddenly felt an uncontrollable urge to run his car into him. He put his foot down on the accelerator and tried to hit the Habs fan. At the last minute the Habs fan jumped out of the way; the driver of the car heard a big bang, but he was sure he'd missed him. The two men proceeded to the church in silence. The Leafs fan pulled up and said, "Look Father, I'm really sorry about that incident back there. I don't know what came over me. Can you forgive me, Father?" The Priest replied, "Of course I can forgive you, my son. Don't worry - I got the ba$tard with the car door." |

This franchise has soo much potential but the interests are in supplementing teachers pensions with one of the richest teams i the NHL. arrgh billy. LEaf fans need to boycott sponsors and leaf games. You know satellite is up and running when we start shifting the convo. Just becuase the leafs aren;t your favourite team doesn't mean they suck. :p |

(Which I think the board forced him into) He has been forced to make desperation moves as his hands have been tied by one year contracts and a board that disagrees with him being at the helm. Ideally they need to bring in a new president... that president has full control and brings in a GM of their choice. In turn that GM has full control over moves with the players and hires a coach of his choosing. The Leafs brass need to look no further than their own model with the Raptors, and their hiring of Brian Collangelo. |
