Dish has now just stepped up the key changes on the new dynamic code, thus making it harder to grab math functions. If and when FTA coders get it down, only the strong FTA boxes with a high end processors and memory may survive this ECM. Others may crash and burn...we shall see...we have gone through this before. Sit tight folks...as news gets released, it will be posted here in the FTA status report. Units using IKS (Internet Key Sharing) such as Nfusion are running. That means it is connected to the internet and relies on an aux server to get its video authorization "keys" to the clients. It does'nt stream over the internet, but they are getting the keys from a open rom 102,103 application and then sending through IKS. You do expose yourself to giving your IP ADDY to those that want it to track you down though. |

Anyway we lost 1 of the providers for about a week or so?? ANYWAY, I remember that many season veterans(or atleast thats how they described themselves) said it was the end. All sorts of CP where posted saying things like...OK PEOPLE THIS TIME ITS DYNAMIC, LOOKS REAL BAD ETC, smaller less powerful boxes will no longer be able to handle the new bins if we ever get oneetc etc turned out to be a bunch of bonk and it wasnt the first time. I swore that I would never fall for that kind of crap again. Just moments ago I read a CP that was much like the 1 from the down time I mentioned earlier. Could be word for word, says again that the pansat 2700 type boxes wont be able to handle the new bins if they ever get one..All about the dynamics etc etc. I am sure they are giving the guys a hard time but, I just remember it was all lies last time what was being posted in CP`s... From what I have been able to figure out over about 3 years is this....very few people in the world no anything about coding and btw I know ZILCH!!! You can be sure that the handful of people that do know(of which very few of them speak english perhaps) do not have time to write cp To the internet forums. I chose to believe what BL said some time ago...we are good to go baring eqipment changes or card swap with some hickups along the way. |
