just as a lark, I took out my old 2500 (no clone)and used the instructions for serial cable (jtagless) conversion (which is simply explained with all tools and files except the jvvh 209 bin) at http://w*ww.ftaprosupport.com (take the * out )and it only took 15 minutes...and since it only had the 208 file available I used that so I hooked it and scanned Nimig but only got half my channels as the rest were scrambled still, so I found the jvvh 209 file and uploaded that one and now I have everything...its faster than my 3500 with BL's bin...and was so easy when you follow the instructions.. thank u jvvh ...you are pansats worst enemy but we all love you for keeping that old plowhorse alive !!
