Hi. My friend gave me a Megasat Platinum to mess with. Every channel I turn to seems to have an error message " Bad Channel or Scrambled Channel." I definitly know it is not a signal problem. Does anyone know more about this receiver or what software it uses? Does anyone know how to fix it or what is wrong with it? Thanks in advance!
Megasat Platinum is a CLONE/copy/fake Pansat 2500 receiver...U MUST use ONLY Pansat 2500 Clone bins which end with letter "T"....current bin is X-85BL 061124_286T (referred to as the 286T bin)...if there is no "T" such as bin 286 versus 286T, then never use the bin 286(it will KILL the receiver...again, ONLY use bins that have "T" on the end...and say for Ppansat 2500 clones!...Real/genuine Pansat receivers use similiar bins but have NO "T" on the end of bin name, and those bins will kill your receiver..
