Hi My fortec receiver doesnot power on. There is a greenlight on the receiver, but it keeps moving from left to right. I don't see anything on the TV screen.
Yes, it is fixable. You need friend's receiver. Connect your receiver with other receiver with DB9 Serial Cable and flash your receiver. Or, if you have computer, download fortec 278t bin, unzip file, open BL loader, take 278t file to loader, connect your computer and receiver with cable (RS232 with CD for port installation - Radio Shack, about $ 40) click on fix and WAIT until your receiver and computer will complete upload. If you don't know "how to", read, learn and do it.
