Hi guys, I've seen around fixes for most of the FTA recievers, but uptil now I've not seen any fix for the captiveworks-600.
Does anybody know if there is a fix around for the captiveworks CW-600s?
(Fix for the ECM problem that caused international channels to be encrypted)

The files for the CW 600S are all over the net
and are working ,if you are running the old summer bin , you have to use loader 1.04 to load the CX_kroundV1,06_24138chip after which you load the files with the loader 1.05

I downloaded to captiveworks CW-600s the bin CX_KroundV1.06_24138Chip.bin and then the CX-LoaderV2.50.bin and CW600S_V1.16.bin. everything is fine all scrambled channels are now working. But I have a single problem, no sound on some channels however other's sound work fine, any help??

by the way for the channels with no sound I found the following:
audio frequency: 22.05KHz
bitrate: Free format Mpeg LayerI

however for similar local channels with sound the parameters are:
audio frequency: 48KHz
bitrate: 160KBS Mpeg LayerII

I believe the problem is that the reciever does not decode the sound the way it should be decoded, as it assumes different frequecny and bitrate from the one that the channel really use...!!

thanks alot Eva, everything is working perfectly now...:-)

just to let people what I did:
1) switched off and turned on while pressing power button to boot in boot mode. then using CW f2atv_com v1.04_plusUSB.exe I downloaded CX_KroundV1.06_24138Chip.bin
2) turned off the reciever and then on from the back, and then used CW f2atv_com v1.05.EXE to download CX-LoaderV2.50.bin (which I don't understand what is it for)
3) then turned off and on from the back, then finally I installed the fix (or at least which I believe is the fix) for the recent problem by using CW f2atv_com v1.05.EXE to download the CW600S_V1.16.bin.

that is it, and now everything is working fine..:-)
