There used to be a big difference in favour of kbox in terns of availability of desi channels. Now there is not much of a difference, but kbox still has a few more. Also some desi channels will scan from 61.5 as well on kbox. I don't know if that is true of Nfusion.

question:

jadoo tv is taking videos from internet stream. whats the difference between watching idesitv or jadoo tv. I have waiting time and connection lost on idesi tv frequently. does jadoo tv has the same problem? OR does jadoo tv have dedicated servers for international progrmming? which never go offline or waiting period to uplaod the video/buffering?

frank,.... cnx nano2 , k1plus, nfusion solaris phoneix all good,
check channels list , how much u wanna pay and go for there,
if i was going to buy something, i will buy cnx nano 2, its new,.. u have to pay only $ 160..channels are stable,
i won't switch to nfusion, unless i wanna go for nfusion hd,

farhan, with jadootv, u can watch it on ur tv, without pluggin any cable etc,

i went to store to check it out about this jadoo tv,
guy had 42 inch tv, pic quality was crap i mean compare to my k1pro, or any other fta rec

i haven't seen any connection problem ,
the guy told me u have to download channels from internet,
tried geo news ,wasn't working , asked him why
he said he don't know..

other thing about jadoo tv, lets say u wanna switch channel, its not same as using up /down channel
from ur other fta rec,

its u have to go back and tune in to different channels, which takes 2 to 3 minutes, to tune in to that..

so from my experience i prefer fta rec compare to jadoo tv, u will get problems because its all through interent,

so unless u have no dishes outside ur rec etc
go for jadoo tv,
other wise if i was you i won' t pay $ 270
compare to jadoo tv
cnx nano2 $ 160
nfusion phonix 200
k1plus/pro 200,

they have much better picture quality are stable, easy to use and much faster than jadoo tv..
hope it helps you to make a right choice..

idesitv.com is stable for me but I do not listen it for long since I do not understand this language.
I heard that IPTV from Jadoo was not stable.

So you can hook your TV on computer and listen with it.

jadoo TV was very promising. It turns out that picture quality was crappy and then they discontinued many desi channels.
At present, my recommendation is not to touch it at all. If there is new service available using similar technology, the difficulty will be that it is a continuous stream from abroad, and changing channels might not be easy.
At present, your only reasonable solution for desi channels is kbox or nfusion. Sada has acquired a CX nano 2 - It is slightly cheaper and has better support. I don't know about the availability of Desi channels.

sada: Since you have access to kbox, nfusion and CX nano, it would be nice if you put out a comparison chart of at least the available desi channels.,

Nalin

Sada has a Nfusion Nova which is dead!

Nfusion added many new channels, I can't get 118.8W to give you a good comment on International channels but many list are available, for me Nfusion is the best of all with a very good list on Bev which is very stable without freezing.

It downloads as .unk file!

Thank You Sada for the detailed answer.
It means that this so called jadoo tv box will increase the bandwidth of our ISPs as its downloading from internet, not to mention the crap quality of channels streaming over internet. I wouldn't go for that , thats for sure.
The CNX NANO 2 , does it need dongle?. I believe if you buy a CNX NANO you do need a dongle which is about 100 bucks beside the receiver cost.
P.S. Please update the comparison list. I coudn't open even in Notepad ++ or XML viewer.
Thanks

sada's file above is a .docx file. It downloads as .unk file. You have to rename it to .docx, and open it under Word 2007 or under Open office.
Sada: I was hoping for a comparison chart of Indo-Pakistani channels
