Bronze Member Username: Babe_ruthlessPost Number: 49 Registered: Dec-08 | Sada go to i9forum.co.uk.The forum discusses i68 and i9 and others.Also look on ebay for sim cards(rogers and fido want $40 in store.If you are in Toronto I can get sims for $15 and legit).I activated my i9(dual sim)with rogers witn no problems.Also DO NOT flash this phone with iphone firmware.There is better firmware called Javquisoft.Hope this helps. |

Gold Member Username: Saqeeb9000Post Number: 4802 Registered: Oct-07 | hi george thanks, i already went to forum and posted it there but didn't get a good response, if u have the phone u can help me better, i inserted both rogers and fidos simcard, it says sim2 is closed, etc, i get signal bars but it doesn't says any carrier name, i called fido. most of them are retarded, i called few unlock companies and they said if phone needs to be unlocked it should say sim not available etc, so i am not sure what is happening.? |

Bronze Member Username: Babe_ruthlessPost Number: 51 Registered: Dec-08 | Did you go into the phone settings and setup all the network stuff sms,mms and all the other stuff?And did you setup the sims correctly(over the phone) with your IMEI #(on the back of the phone).Also on i9 forum they have a tutorial section and all Rogers/Fido setup info.I will be out for a bit but will check back in when I'm home. |

Gold Member Username: Saqeeb9000Post Number: 4806 Registered: Oct-07 | thanks bazuka, george, doreen, finally made it work, phone had two slot cards, so i inserted two sim cards to make it work, it wasn't working with one card, so what i did is inserted one rogers card upside down and 2nd on on top, rogers started working, fido didn't work, then i inserted fido on bottom and rogers upside on top , and fido started working, i took both cards out and inserted fido again, stopped working, i inserted both cards, took one out fido was still working VERY WIERD any ways phone is quite similar to iphone, but i hate touch screen , it gets unresponsive a lot.. |
