Well the curiosity got the best of me and I deleted all channels!!

The new files were not kind this time as they threw my usuals way out of coodinates and the verticals would not load on 8/10!!

After a few hours I I managed to whip this tiger by using 1.2 settings for all except 9/13.

The next hurdle will be to make the files rename my local channels! This is no biggie as I only need two channels sho-w and sho-e.. I had to change quite a few settings this time as who ever scanned the sats had all that junk and a stationary dish with dip switches out the yang yang and a viewsat recieveer!! Interesting how much info you get from a download!! Was I right on the viewsat it was a guess but we know it was not a pansat nor sonicview<I;-)

Jump on that for me pie master !Time is a waisting<I;-)

I'm not able to understand all what you says but on Viewsat, if you don't want to lose your channels do it:

Do a factory default, load the factory bin from viewsatusa.com and the satellite info then the latest bin, now scan all your satellites.
Don't take old factory file available from many sites.

If you experiment freezing, slow channels change or display who seems flashing, you only reload the latest bin and the receiver do a hard reboot by itself.

Why reload the latest bin, because you will lose all your channels or experiment a night rider(----) and your receiver can record few data errors which give you a less performance receiver.

I tried that and still cant rename my local channels the new file carries with it the scanners stored lat lon which does not match mine.

So to re-enter my specifics wont allow my usualls to work properly.

Blacksmith would have took such privy out of a file before he listed it!

This is why he quit sending pre-scanned files for pansat. There were too many questions about how to select the correct set-up as each users were different!!

joeturn,

Sort by SID and select your local? What bin are you talking about. You should be able to rename any channel.

Nothing is misspelled above.
