Kimberly, Was it windy last night? Make sure that you are locking on to the correct sat. your dish could have moved. You can have strong signal and quality but on a different sat than you are looking for. I hope you can understand this vague response. post again if you find your switch working and your dish has not moved.
Actually, 50+ mile winds last night. I never thought of that one I bet that is a fixer. Thank-you I will try it and post back. I didn't re-check keys either why not, I have no idea.
See you guys are awesome, sometimes we just need others prospective, and reminders.
Hi Guys, My Pansat 2700A exhibiting the same behavior as Kimberly's. Did factory reset, blind scan, reboot, turned off from back switch and back on, etc... no luck Signal and Quality are good. Checked satillite and dish position.. didn't notice any abnormalities.. Any help would be appreciated
Hey again, thought I would post back Keys ok, Sat was locked in ok also.
This doesn't make a lot of since to me but a friend said to set default key turn auto roll off, then go to channel 200? Go back and turn auto roll back on.
What? durn thing works just fine. Why, how, what does channel 200 have to do with it.
I tried all what Kimberly wrote except switching to channel 200 which I don't have as I am pointed to 148 W. But this trick didn't work for me... Still down!
Have same problem for a day. After reading few posts, i manually enter the key dated 30/1 dss-keys As i do not have ch 200 Turn autoroll off. it works again.
Mine did it again, I have no idea what ch200 has to do with it either, probably nothing. I think it is just the autoroll off and exit and auto roll on re-set whatever.
Turning box off and on and or unplugging normally fixes most all, this problem no changes. weird
Are you laughing yet? durrrr no clue here, but works again..
it sounds like there may be some kind of ECM taking place. Strange things happen a few days or hours before we lose the data stream.
I am using Viewsat and experiencing no problems. Sorry that I am not much help. Other Pansat users will come to your aide. Take care and relax with a glass of wine. don't sweat the small stuff and have a good night.
It is a very old established thing about Pansat 2700 and 2500 and conversions, that 1. Autoroll off or on, the keys will come in. 2. Keeping autoroll on, causes problems. 3. Keeping autoroll off has been the advise in the past as far back as a year ago. 4. One thing that often works, after autoroll off, is to do set default keys, but I found that by going into the keys (0101 for DN), and manually changing just one number, the autoroll process takes less time.
I had the same problem. it showed scramble. I left it on and went to the bathroom for 10 min came back it was working and now watching TV. Leave your receiver long enough for the A/R to do its job.
I was having issue with my FLU converted to Pansat 2700. After loading "LZMA_207 v2" it was still showing "scrambled or bad channel". A friend of mine gave me a solution that change the keys manually. After changing keys now everything is back on and I am enjoying. Here are the keys:

Note: After changing keys make sure DONOT unplug or switch it off otherwise you have to re-enter keys manually.
